About the Cartoonist

Luke Foster is the writer and artist of "Moon Freight 3," his first regularly-published comic strip, thus fulfilling a lifelong goal of being a cartoonist. He is also the writer and artist of "The Gang From the Store: True Tales From the Comic Book Shop," a series of true vignettes done in the style of a gag comic. Its can be read every Saturday and Sunday at PKD Media.

A writer by training, Luke was a weekly columnist for the comic book web site The Pulse between June 2007 and June 2008, where he wrote Make With the Funny Comics, a weekly examination of different comic books and comic strips that had a humorous slant. He has also contributed to the Geek Syndicate Web site, a UK-based site providing news and reviews of comic books and pop culture. Luke was also a member of Nine Panel Nerds, a weekly podcast about comic books and pop culture.

He is currently a co-host of The Incredible Hulkcast, a monthly look at the Hulk comic books and other media, which is hosted by Comic Book Noise. He also co-hosts Podcast on a Half-Shell, a show about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that comes out whenever there's enough material for an episode. It is syndicated through the Comic Racks feed.
