Wow, lots going on today. First, check out the AWESOME fan art I got this week from Lee Grice, cohost of the Small Press Big Mouth podcast. It's on the Extras page, and it is so amazing.

On top of that, I am proud to announce the release of my very first book! The Gang From the Store: True Tales From the Comic Book Shop ended in June, but I have not been resting idle with that title. I have put together a book collecting all 64 strips from that run, plus artist's commentary and some never-before-seen sketches. You can get it at IndyPlanet.com or ComicsMonkey.com. I'm so excited to say I finally have a book of my own, and this is a real dream come true for me.

Okay, a lot has happened since the last update, so let's get this done. Connecticon was awesome, and I met a ton of fans and made a ton of new cartooning friends. Among there were the very cool Rob and Corey from Remedial Comics. They helped me out with a table issue early in the show, and Corey also drew some awesome fan art you can see on the Extras page. Also, this past Wednesday was the two-year anniversary of Moon Freight 3! You cannot believe how excited I am to have reached this point, and I have each and every one of you to thank for it. This next year is going to be a lot of fun, and I have a lot of exciting stuff planned. I hope you're all along for the ride.

Just a quick update to remind everyone that I'll be at Connecticon this weekend. You can find me at table 14A in the Artists' Colony, where not only will I have plenty of MF3-related merchandise, but I will also be drawing artist trading cards and doing full 9x12 commissions, too! I hope to see everyone there!

The first annual ComiCONN has come and gone, and boy, was that a great show. The room was packed full of enthusiastic comic fans, and I got to meet a lot of new people and do sketches for a bunch of them. If you're one of those new people, welcome! It was great to meet you and I hope you find the comic entertaining. Special shoutouts should go to the ComiCONN staff, who worked tirelessly to make the show run as smooth as it did. Seriously, I didn't think first-time shows could go so well, but ComiCONN proved me wrong. I will definitely be back next year. Next up: Connecticon.

Have I really not updated this blog since February? Cripes. Anyway, I have plenty to say, so I might as well get down to brass tacks. I've made a few changes to the site, adding a list of convention appearances in the left sidebar. In addition to my appearance at the inaugural ComiCONN, I will be making my return to Connecticon this July. If I make any other appearances, I'll be sure to let you know.
Next, you'll also notice Facebook "Like" buttons under all the comics. If you use Facebook, you know you can click "Like" to let people know you are a fan of their status or pictures or whatever. Now you can do the same with the comic.
Finally, longtime readers of this site know the page has had almost the exact same design since it launched in August 2008. It's been a goal for a long time to give it a complete overhaul. Frankly, it's long overdue, so it's put up or shut up time. Look for a complete site facelift soon.
That's all I got for now. Thanks for reading, and remember, I love feedback so please send it often, no matter what you have to say.

I've added a new page to the site, called Extras. Here's where you can find stuff like fan art, which I'm starting to get! The first piece is a great one-panel comic by Keith Cunningham, longtime reader of the comic and podcaster extraordinaire. I'm also moving all the links to various media outlets where MF3 has been mention to this page. If you want to see some fan art of your own on this page, send it along and I'll be happy to post it! Anyway, click on the button above to check out the new page!

Happy new year, everyone! I wanted to let you know I've started putting together my 2010 convention schedule. First on the agenda is ComiCONN, a one-day show on May 15 in North Haven, CT. The guest lineup looks amazing, so come on out, meet a lot of cool people, and introduce yourself to me. I'd love to see you!
