I know what you're thinking: You're thinking that one comic from me is all right,
but what would really make your week is for me to write and draw a second comic.
Well who says dreams don't come true. Starting this Saturday, and running every
Saturday and Sunday at www.pkdmedia.com, is my
new comic, "The Gang From the Store: True Tales from the Comic Book Shop." It is, as
you can guess, a comic strip journal of all the hilarious things that me and my
friends have said and done at my local comic book store. It's a bit of a different
creature from MF3, but I hope you all like it anyway. Of course, many thanks must go
to Shawn Pryor, owner of PKD Media, for hosting "Gang" and a bunch of other excellent
comics that you should really check out every day.

Wow, it's been a while since I updated the ol' blog here. I've been very busy
traveling and visiting friends and the like, and it's been quite the time.
Anyway, I want to welcome anyone I met at BICS, or the Big Apple Comic Con, or
who came here through the link at Evil Inc.
I hope you enjoy the comic, and it provides some small amount of entertainment
for you. And please, leave feedback, either on my Twitter feed, at the Livejournal
community, or directly through e-mail. All the links are above, and I always
love to hear from people.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 18, marks the one-year anniversary of Moon Freight 3.
I'm so happy to have made it a year, and I want to thank each and every one of
you for reading, whether you're brand new or have been here since the beginning.
And we've only just begun. I've got some interesting things planned for Larry
and Bolts in the next few months. And I don't just mean the new color art. So
I hope you stick around for another year. I'll do my best to make it worth your
while.

Moon Freight 3 got a lovely review on episode 5 of the Small Press
Big Mouth podcast. Syndicated by Geek Syndicate and hosted by Stacey Whittle
and Lee Grice, SPBM is a fairly new podcast that spotlights webcomics and
independent comic books, and is well worth a listen. You can download the
episode here.

Connecticon is over, and what an experience. It was an intense three days of
talking about the comic, drawing sketches, and meeting so many new people. It
was an incredible time for my first time behind the table at a con. If I met
you there and you're visiting the site for the first time, welcome and thank
you! I'm so glad you've decided to check out my comic, and I hope I can
entertain you three times a week.

Connecticon is less than two weeks away, everybody! I'll be in the
Artist Colony at table 28B. And in a great coincidence, my super awesome
buddy Alina Pete is at the table next
to me, so come along and say hi to both of us! To make it easy to find us,
here's a map of the Artist Colony.

You may have noticed I added some navigation buttons at the top of the site.
Hopefully they make navigating a little easier. Also, it's been a while since
I've said this, but if you're a new reader here, welcome! I hope you like
what you see.
